Registration fees
All prices below are stated excluding VAT (taxes). 25% VAT will be added before payment.
Exchange rates may vary. To see current exchange rates, please visit for example www.oanda.com or your choice of currency exchange tool.
The registration fee includes admission to the congress lectures, the exhibition, coffee and lunches. Please note that some of the events need pre-registration on the registration form. More regarding social events at Social events
In order to take advantage of the early bird registration fee, make sure to register by 12 August, 2026 at the latest.
One-day participation fee is the same for all delegate categories.

Accompanying person
It is possible to register an accompanying person to attend some of the social events. An accompanying person is a spouse, family member or friend that wish to attend the social events, but is not a congress participant (and will not have access to the congress lectures or exhibition.)
The accompanying person can attend the guided tours and the banquet, to the same price per event as the registered participant. A link to register an accompanying person will be provided in the auto reply confirmation e-mail when you register your attendance as a participant.
Swedish participants
Swedish participants can choose to pay either by credit card or by invoice.
Invoice to Swedish organizations will be sent as an electronical invoice (e-faktura) if possible, or otherwise as a pdf by e-mail.
Participants from outside Sweden
All payments must be made in SEK (Swedish krona)
Payment should be made by credit card or by bank transfer (invoice).
An invoice including bank transfer information (bank account number, IBAN, etc) will be sent upon choice of this payment method. The invoice is created manually, and will be sent usually a few days after registration.
The participant/payee is responsible for any bank charges/fees associated with the payment.
Credit card payment
We accept the following credit cards: VISA and Mastercard.
For your safety, our payment system is connected to the 3D Secure system for ensuring the security of payments made through the internet. Your card needs to be connected to Verified by Visa or Mastercard SecureCode. Your bank can inform you if your card is connected, and if not already, how it can be connected.
According to Swedish and EU legislation, 25% Swedish VAT (“moms”) will be added to all registration fees. This according to EU legislation and regulation for conferences and events (C-647/17, EU:C:2019:195, of 13 March 2019 and Article 53 of Council Directive 2006/112/EC of 28 November 2016) VAT is paid in the country where services are rendered, e.g. the country in which the conference takes place.
Exception: Swedish participants from governmental public sector organizations “statliga myndigheter” (e.g., universities, governmental agencies): No VAT will be added. In this case, you must choose Invoice (Swedish billing address only) as the payment mode and provide the VAT number of your employer.
For payment by credit card, VAT will always be charged, also for participants from “statliga myndigheter”.
Cancellations should be made in writing to the conference secretariat. If you cancel a still unpaid registration, you will be charged a cancellation fee of SEK 750.
Cancellations made by 12 August 2026 at the latest: the total amount will be refunded except for the cancellation fee, SEK 750.
Cancellations made after 12 August will not be refunded.
Cancellations of only separate activities or meals are non-refundable. (Exception: if the organizers cancel an activity, you will be refunded.)
Change of Name
Should you be unable to attend, you will be given the opportunity to send someone in your place at no extra cost. If this should be the case, please contact the conference administration office, Academic Conferences as soon as possible.
